Nader Farah Joins OSI as Managing Director of International Operations

Open Systems International Inc. (OSI), an industry leader providing open and high-performance automation solutions to utilities worldwide, is pleased to announce that Nader Farah has joined OSI's executive team as managing director of international operations.

Formerly an executive at KEMA, Farah will lead the overall strategy for OSI's business operations in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the Asia-Pacific region. He will be responsible for directing OSI's international strategy and business development, risk management, revenue growth, partnership establishment, services delivery and profit and loss accountability, among other activities.

Nader's breadth of international business experience will be an immense asset to OSI as we continue to grow our presence in strategic global markets," said Bahman Hoveida, president & CEO of OSI.

Farah is a seasoned executive with more than 27 years of industry experience in automation and utilities, with a significant focus in international operations. He spent more than 20 years at KEMA, with a majority of time serving as senior vice president of international operations. Farah has also held various engineering and business development roles at GE/Harris, Singer-Link and Systems Control/ABB.

Farah received a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1980, and maintains professional affiliations with the United States Energy Association (USEA), IEEE Power Engineering Society and CIGRE.
