Owatonna Public Utilities Selects OSI Technology for New SCADA System Platform

Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) was selected by Owatonna Public Utilities (OPU) to supply a new SCADA system based on OSI's state-of-the-art monarch™ (Multi-platform Open Network ARCHitecture) technology.

OPU's new OSI SCADA system will be replacing a legacy SIEMENS Telegyr system and will feature the advanced functionality presented by OSI's next-generation, .NET based Graphical User Interface (GUI); Calculation and Scripting Subsystem; Real-time and Historical Trending; Data Engineering and Maintenance Subsystem; Advanced Alarm Management System; Dynamic Tabular Display Subsystem; Tabular Builder; Communications Front-End Processor; and Historical Information System and Data Archiving software products, with ODBC and SNMP Interfaces.
