Dominican Republic's Hydroelectric Generation Company, EGEHID, Selects OSI Technology for New SCADA System

Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) and partner Automatización y Tecnología Mexicana SA de CV (Atemex) have been awarded a contract by Empresa de Generación Hidroeléctrica Dominicana (EGEHID), the Dominican Republic's state-owned hydroelectric generation company, to implement a SCADA system based on OSI's monarch™ operations technology (OT) platform. This new solution will replace EGEHID's legacy ABB system.

This new SCADA system will feature OSI's next-generation, .NET-based Graphical User Interface (GUI); Remote/Mobile Browser-based User Interface; Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition; Communications Front-end Processor; Real-time and Historical Trending; Advanced Alarm Management System; Data Engineering and Maintenance Subsystem; Historical Information System and Data Archiving; and OBDC and ICCP interfaces.
