Rochelle Municipal Utilities of Illinois Awards OSI a Contract to Provide a Replacement SCADA Master Station

Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) has recently been awarded a contract by Rochelle Municipal Utilities (RMU), Rochelle, Illinois to supply a replacement SCADA Master Station for monitoring and controlling the Rochelle electrical system.

The system will be based on OSI's monarch™ distributed open architecture and includes Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, Historical Archiving, as well as Calculation and Trending capabilities. RMU will also utilize DNP over IP and Modbus TCP as communications protocols. Rochelle deemed OSI's fast track delivery record and its open technology as leading decision factors for choosing the monarch platform. The system is scheduled to be completed in the two (2) months following the contract award with commissioning following one month later.
