Willmar Municipal Utilities of Minnesota Awards OSI a Contract to Provide a Replacement SCADA Master Station

Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI), has recently been awarded a contract by Willmar Municipal Utilities (WMU), Willmar, Minnesota to supply a replacement SCADA Master Station for monitoring and controlling the district heating, electrical and water systems.

The system will be based on OSI's monarch™ distributed open architecture and includes Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, Historical Archiving, and both Calculation and Trending Subsystem capabilities. OSI's fast track delivery record and its market presence as well as its open technology have been major decision factors for Willmar. The system is scheduled to be implemented utilizing a four month schedule. WMU's future plans include implementation of Cannon Technologies Yukon Load Management Interface System.
