The Calpine GEMS will allow for real-time deployment of power generation portfolio and help Calpine become one of the most efficient power plant operators and marketers in North America.

In addition to monitoring of Calpine's generation assets, the OSI software will match load and generation data with real-time market information, providing Calpine with the most efficient scenario in which to operate its system of plants.
