Burbank Water and Power Selects OSI Technology for a New Water Management System

Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) has been awarded a contract by Burbank Water and Power (BWP) to supply a new SCADA and Water Management system (WMS) based on OSI's monarch™ (Multi-platform Open Network ARCHitecture) platform. The new platform can be used to reliably monitor and control the distribution of water to Burbank residents. The platform is also capable of optimizing various operational processes.

BWP's new WMS system includes OSI's advanced Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Situational Awareness system, Remote Console/Web based User Interface Communications Front-end Processor, Real-time and Historical Trending, Historical Information System and Data Archiving, Advanced Alarm Management System, as well as a comprehensive Data Engineering and Maintenance Subsystem.
