Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) has launched a new business subsidiary, Adherant Consulting, an operational technology (OT) systems' integration and consulting organization. Adherant Consulting specializes in providing professional services to clients who are implementing and deploying OSI OT systems such as Energy Management, Generation Management, Advanced Distribution Management, Outage Management, and Renewables Management systems.
Through years of delivering complex OT projects to utilities worldwide, OSI has observed many opportunities and gaps in execution responsibilities on the clients' side. When expert services are present, the outcomes and quality of implementations are dramatically improved. Experience has proven that projects on which the system supplier also takes on integration services have much better outcomes, including on-schedule implementations, the lowest overall implementation costs, and, finally, a streamlined responsibility matrix resulting from a single technology and services company assuming full responsibility for the entire solution delivery.
