LNG

A Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) asset is a plant that pressurizes and cools the natural gas from gas state to a liquid state. Transforming gas to this more condensed form of energy makes it more efficient to transfer from producers to consumers in large volumes. This development in energy transportation has revolutionized the oil & gas industry.

At OSI, we look to LNG as a growing sector in the market, especially in North America. We also see the midstream players, both in distribution and transmission of gas, using small-scale LNG plants as a means of storage and peak shaving. We consider process automation outside our focus as it's mainly managed by DCS systems. We are instead focused on providing the tools for the supervision and control of LNG assets, especially in instances where operators with multiple LNG plants need a powerful OT solution that can help them manage their operations.

Our LNG solution is also capable of communicating with process and security systems on any given technology. We have assembled a team of industry veterans who specifically focus on efficiency, safety, and continuity of operations. Our solution is based on real-time operational needs, while also considering simulation, operator training, modeling and forecasting as offline functionalities. The OSI monarch™ platform, combined with the Continua™ suite of products, provides a state-of-the-art integrated solution with the ability to host Continua™ Gas Solutions' advanced applications in six different modules, based on the operational needs of our clients.
