OSI Awarded a Contract to Supply an Electric Power SCADA and Distribution Management System for the Kennedy Space Center

Open Systems International, Inc. (OSI) has been awarded an order to supply a new SCADA and Power Distribution Management System (to Space Gateway Support, LLC. The system, which will be located at Kennedy Space Center, will manage the power distribution at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) in Florida.

The system will be based on OSI's monarch™ distributed open architecture and includes Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, Historical Information Archiving, Switch Order Management, Geographic Information System (GIS) interface, Real-time Distribution Analysis applications, and advanced Alarm Processing. The system implementation includes installation of new network based DNP Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) supplied by DAQ Electronics and a state of-the-art control room Projection System provided by Barco Control Room Products.
