North American Electric Reliability Corporation

OSI is recognized by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) as a Continuing Education (CE) provider. CE credits can be earned by participants for OSI University™ courses dealing with Operator Training, Grid Security, Cyber Security and Operational Awareness.

National Rural Electric Cooperative Association

The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) is the national service organization dedicated to representing national interests of cooperative electric utilities and the consumers they serve.

MultiSpeak® Specification

The MultiSpeak Specification is a key industry-wide standard for realizing the potential of enterprise application interoperability. The MultiSpeak Specification is the most widely applied de facto standard in North America pertaining to distribution utilities and all portions of vertically integrated utilities, except generation and power marketing. It is currently in use in daily operations of more than 600 electric cooperatives, investor-owned utilities, municipals and public power districts in at least 15 different countries

Northwest Public Power Association

The Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA) is a not-for-profit, international trade association made up of public utility districts, electric cooperatives, municipalities and crown corporations. NWPPA represents and serves consumer-owned, locally controlled utilities in the western U.S. and Canada. It exists to enhance the success of its members through education, training, public information, governmental relations and value-added services.

American Public Power Association

The American Public Power Association (APPA) is the service organization for the nation's more than 2,000 community-owned electric utilities. APPA's mission is to advance the public policy interests of its members and their consumers, and provide member services to ensure adequate, reliable electricity at a reasonable price with the proper protection of the environment.

Tennessee Valley Public Power Association, Inc.

The Tennessee Valley Public Power Association, Inc. (TVPPA) is the nonprofit, regional service organization that represents the interests of consumer-owned electric utilities operating within the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) service area. TVPPA members include both municipal and electric cooperatives, and they serve more than 9 million customers in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, North Carolina and Virginia.

Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation

The Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) is a group of electric utilities, suppliers, manufacturers and other stakeholders operating in the electricity industry in the Caribbean. CARILEC strives to enhance communication among its members and to serve as the focal point for general and technical information. They also take the lead in advocating for change in the electric utility industry in the Caribbean.

Distributed Network Protocol Users Group

The Distributed Network Protocol (DNP3) Users Group is a group of utilities and vendors who utilize the DNP3 protocol. The DNP3 is an open and public portal that was developed to achieve open, standards-based interoperability between substation computers, RTUs, IEDs and master stations for the electric utility industry. The DNP3 Users Group is responsible for the evolution of the protocol, evaluates suggested modifications or additions to the protocol, and amends the protocol description as directed.

OPC Foundation

The OPC Foundation manages a global organization in which users and vendors work together to create data transfer standards for multi-vendor, multi-platform, secure and reliable interoperability in industrial automation. The OPC Foundation also creates and maintains specifications, ensures compliance with OPC specifications, and collaborates with industry-leading standards organizations.

UCA International User Group

UCA International User Group (UCAIug) is a corporation focused on assisting users and vendors in the deployment of standards for real-time applications for several industries with related requirements. UCAIug's mission is to enable integration through the deployment of open standards by providing a forum in which the various stakeholders in the energy and utility industry can work cooperatively together.

The American Gas Association

The American Gas Association (AGA) is an American trade organization representing over 200 natural gas supply companies and others with an interest in the manufacturing of natural gas appliances and the production of natural gas.

Western Energy Institute

The Western Energy Institute (WEI) is an American trade association serving the electric and natural gas industries throughout the Western United States and Canada.

American Petroleum Institute

The American Petroleum Institute (API) is the only national trade association that represents all aspects of America's oil and natural gas industry. Their more than 650 corporate members, from the largest major oil company to the smallest of independents, come from all segments of the industry.

Peak Load Management Alliance

PLMA (Peak Load Management Alliance) was founded in 1999 as a community of experts and practitioners dedicated to sharing knowledge and providing resources to promote inclusiveness in the design, delivery, technology, and management of solutions addressing energy and natural resource integration. The non-profit association provides a forum for practitioners to share dynamic load management expertise, including demand response and distributed energy resources.
